Suggestion: A way to filter out DLLs

I have a few DLLs in my program directory that Mono.Addins always tries to load (MSVC runtimes, etc.). I know that they are not add-ins. Is there any way to blacklist these from the scan? If not, this is a suggestion for the future.

Could you please add a way to do this programmatically?
I'd really like to avoid my users breaking their install by accidentally opening files in Notepad. :)
Also, separate files makes it harder to do updates.

It's only possible to do this via a separate file at present.
